Spring has sprung and will soon burst forth in all its glory.

Now is the time when many people make it their mission declutter their homes and get organized by taking on some much needed spring cleaning.  This can be a very satisfying experience as you work your way through the kitchen, bedroom, linen closet, even the living room and family room.

Small changes can make a big difference. You can change up meal time with a set of new dishes. Or, spruce up your windows with new curtains. Create more space by getting rid of a bookcase filled with old, dust covered books. Is it time for a new mattress? Time to treat yourself to some new seasonal bedding?  How about a lifestyle change – such as taking the TV out of the bedroom. Clear unused items out of the attic and garage.

If you’re not sure where to start, check out this article: “Spring Cleaning: A Complete Checklist.”  We hope to see the results soon. Because when you replace those dishes, get new curtains, remove the TV, set up a new bed, they won’t go to waste. You can bring the goods and furniture you’re moving out to Household Goods. And help us help others make a home. Simple!

Please be sure to check our calendar for an up-to-date drop-off schedule and our donation guidelines for what we can and cannot accept. And thank you!
