Support and Get Involved with Household Goods
Household Goods provides a full range of furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home.
To furnish thousands of homes a year, Household Goods relies on financial donations, a steady supply of good quality furniture and household items, and volunteers to transform empty apartments into homes for families.
Volunteer with Household Goods and become a part of our success in the community.
Drop off good quality household items on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 9am-noon.
Schedule a Pick Up With Resupply
Our partnership with Resupply, a veteran-owned organization, offers donors a convenient way to donate items for our clients. For a fee, Resupply will pick up your items and bring them to Household Goods. This is an excellent choice for donors with pressing time needs or whose donation does not meet our pickup criteria.
Your financial support helps Household Goods help people make a home.
Fund a Bed and More
When our inventory runs low and we are unable to provide the most needed items (beds, tables, couches, chairs) to our clients, you can help us fill in the gaps.
A Legacy for Household Goods
Helping People Make a Home can be part of your legacy when you make a planned gift or bequest to Household Goods.
Household Goods has received a $100,000 Cummings Foundation Grant as part of Cummings $25 Million Grant Program. Household Goods was chosen from a total of 590 applicants during a competitive review process and will receive $25,000 a year over the next four years.
The funding will help Household Goods furnish homes across Massachusetts for people who need but cannot afford basic furniture and household items. People who are referred to Household Goods receive basic household items that create a home environment to last for years.
