An ARToberFEST to benefit Household Goods

Saturday, October 21, 2017

Powers Gallery, 144 Great Road, Acton, MA

Household Goods provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Each year we help 2,500 families turn empty rooms into furnished living spaces. We rely entirely on financial donations to sustain our organization, and are excited to hold this unique fundraising event to help raise funds and awareness of our mission.

We hope we can count on you to take part by making art!

We are inviting local artists to transform an ordinary household item into a unique piece  of art to be included in a silent auction at the Powers Gallery, with all proceeds benefiting Household Goods. You can choose a household item from Household Goods, or provide one of your own.

Possible items include: chairs, end tables, and other small pieces of furniture; mirrors; pottery; and clocks. You are invited to use any method, material, or medium.  Paint, decorate, remake them into sculptures. The only limit is your imagination!

Please join us to help people in need make a home. Artists and their final pieces will be featured in our press releases, website, and social media.

For more information about the event and deadlines for participation, please contact using the form at the right.
