At the end of May, as Boston College prepared for graduation, Household Goods volunteers spent 10 days on campus, collecting truckloads of household items as students vacated their dorms in a monumental effort that brought together long-time volunteers, individuals, and special groups all working as one to help people make a home.
This year, we collected more than 6,000 items including small appliances, lamps, furniture, storage bins, and bags of linens.
Neither words nor pictures can express how grateful we are to the hundreds of volunteers who came together for this year’s BC Clean Out. We’ll need even more next May, so please mark your calendar!
