Household Goods’ Annual Meeting was held this week via Zoom. The meeting featured a lively panel discussion with staff from three of our referring agencies: Amanda Eldridge, Acton Housing Authority; Luisa Fernandez, Fitchburg Public Schools; and Peter Namukowa, REACH Beyond Domestic Violence.
The panelists described the challenges facing the differing populations they serve, and the value Household Goods provides to people who need help stabilizing their lives. Notably, they all placed great value on the dignity and kindness their clients experience in working with Household Goods’ volunteers.
