Thanks to the generous supporters of our Build the Way Home Capital Campaign, our long-planned site renovation and expansion has become our new reality.
- We have completed our new donation drop-off area, now conveniently at building level and actively in use every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9 – Noon. No appointments are needed.
- We have moved into the new red building addition, where our processing of smaller household items including towels, lamps, appliances and kitchen items have been relocated. - We have finished the cement foundation for the final phase – a free-standing storage building that will replace the rented storage containers. The building will vastly improve our ability to handle donations of hundreds of items at one time. It will be delivered in January and will be ready to use by winter’s end. then!
- Our new, professional wayfinding signage (in three languages) has been ordered, and our driveway is scheduled to be freshly paved, setting up the entire site for use by all of our clients, donors and volunteers for years to come.
